Why Barney Frank and Ron Paul are RIGHT On Drug Legalization

On June 23 Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) and Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), who is also a presidential candidate, introduced a bill to Congress which would end the federal prohibition on marijuana.

Weed helps people with all types of diseases.

If the legislation is somehow passed, it will be up to the individual states to determine whether or not marijuana is illegal within their borders but the federal government will still be allowed to enforce interstate trafficking laws. Continue reading


Say No to Natalie’s Bill!

Natalie's Bill calls for Massachusetts lawmakers to adopt a primary seat belt law.

In 2006 Beatriz Fuentes experienced what no other parent should have to suffer through –losing a child.

In July of that year, Natalie, Fuentes’ daughter, was in a fatal car accident in Springfield, Ma. The car, driven by Natalie’s boyfriend,
flipped over after he swerved in an attempt to avoid a car which had stopped suddenly in front of them. Natalie, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car and killed. Continue reading
